NEGI Sign Systems delivers
Mutoh ValueJet 1626UH to Silvassa

Traces of NEGI Sign Systems & Supplies Co can be found in the farthest corner of the country. In this, they have recently delivered a Mutoh ValueJet 1626UH UV LED flatbed printer to a Silvassa-based PSP. This 64-inch UV hybrid printer (combo of roll-to-roll and flatbed) is featured with rigid front and rear tables, which make the printer capable to print on roll or rigid materials upto half inch thick. ValueJet 1626UH uses energy efficient UV-LED ink and it has CMYK + White and varnish ink options. Adoption of this versatile Mutoh UV printer has enhanced the overall print volume and quality of the PSP in Silvassa. ValueJet 1626UH is a six-colour eco-friendly workhorse compatible with a variety of roll and rigid materials on the attached tables. Liberty Graphics in Mumbai
installs AGFA Titan HS

Mumbai-based Liberty Graphics has invested in a brand new AGFA Titan HS FTR from AGFA Graphics, taking its machine portfolio and proficiency in printing to a new level. This high-end AGFA system comes with a standard full-speed six-colour printing, making it possible to print more grey levels for more realistic, smoother skin tones with a wider colour gamut. In a brief talk to Sign & Graphics, Dhruv Bhatt, founding partner, Liberty Graphics, said they chose the new AGFA system for its speed, bed size and advanced features including online pre-coating technology.

AGFA Titan HS FTR is equipped with RICOH Gen 5 printheads (1280-nozzle) fitted in two rows to churn graphic at 160 sq m/hr in 720 x 1200 dpi on its 6.5x10 ft bed taking up media up to width of 10 ft without any constraint of length. “We already have an AGFA system, AGFA-Jeti 1224 HDC FTR, in our facility, but the speed of AGFA Titan HS FTR is three times faster than the earlier,” mentioned Dhruv, adding that the new printer’s sheer speed without any compromise on quality would enable them to offer their customers shorter turnaround times.

Among the added features of AGFA Titan HS FTR, which Dhruv said impressive to them in the first place, was the printer’s ability to do pre-coating on the fly for printing on non-porous substrates on which print adhesion is a challenge.

to Progressive Consultant in Bhopal

Along-time customer of Arrow Digital, Bhopal-based signage major Progressive Consultant has recently upgraded its production facility with the adoption of a brand new Efi-MATAN 8Q UV, which is an 8 colour high-speed UV roll-to-roll system with fully automated back-to-back technology. Nitin from Progressive Consultants said they engage in high-volume production, with critical deadlines and no compromise on quality, for which their adoption Efi-MATAN 8Q UV is the right decision. “The printer’s advanced features and its prowess in roll-to-roll and back-to-back production we saw at Arrow Digital’s demo centre in Ahemdabad impressed us to go for the printer,” he added.
