When SUN SOFT went into a search mission for a technology capable to cater high-speed printing, sharp image production, flexible media handling, what it clicked all the boxes in the company’s tech-hunt was a FUJIFILM Acuity printer, which met all their prerequisites. With no further second thought, the company adopted a FUJIFILM Acuity LED 1600 now running in their state-of-the-art production facility in Sangli. “The printer’s sharp print outputs, which can be durably exposed to outdoor environments, is one feature that impressed us when we first saw FUJIFILM Acuity LED 1600,” says Ranjeet Dabhade, executive director, SUN SOFT. Deep rooted origin

The establishment of SUN SOFT dates back to the year 1990 when Ranjeet Dabhade and Abhijeet Dabhade, who are engineer graduates, laid the foundation stone of the company to serve the innovative printing requirements. “We have poured all our experience of more than 25 years in the printing industry and incorporated it to create innovative products and services to our esteemed customers. Our aim is to work optimum to deliver the best consistency and most efficient services,” recounts Abhijeet Dabhade.

As on today, apart from the FUJIFILM Acuity LED 1600, the production setup of SUN SOFT is equipped with a line of machines for printing and finishing jobs, which primarily include Epson 9700, Graphtech CE6000-120AP, UV roller-coater, RTR lamination machine, Asada programmable cutting machine, among others. In addition, the company boasts of different divisions designed separately for screen printing and sublimation process.

UV revolution

Adoption of the FUJIFILM Acuity LED 1600 has revolutionised the overall competencies of SUN SOFT. Key features of the printer include its classleading productivity of 20 sq m/hr, flexibly designed to print on a broad range of media up to 13 mm thick. These features provide the ability to produce high value-added promotional tools, thus providing powerful support for expanding business of PSPs into new market segments.

Enhanced outputs

Some of the industrial segments where major clients of SUN SOFT dwelled include vehicle wrapping, home decor, label and signage solution. “We provide custom-made vehicle graphics and handle home décor projects for interior designers and of course, signage and display works they deliver,” mentions Abhijeet, adding that their clients are always satisfied with the enhanced quality in overall outputs they deliver. As SUN SOFT believes in ‘quality’ in both products and services, Abhijeet proudly states that having FUJIFILM Acuity LED 1600 in their production setup now allows them to serve their customers better with highest quality prints available in the market. “Other than quality, the printer also allows us to go beyond signage, which means applications related to interior displays, short-run labels and the like.
