New venue and new gamut of updated machines, technologies and
allied products were what all slipped on at the recent APPPEXPO
2015 held at National (Shanghai) Center for Exhibition and
Convention in Shanghai. Organised from March 11-14, 2015, overall
exhibits at the widely acclaimed trade expo presented globallyinfluenced
trends.
Having been a popular trade show
ever since its maiden edition over
the last 22 years, APPPEXPO has
become a strategic platform for industry
fellows to catch new trends and tradition.
This year, the 23rd edition of the show
brought on stage a fresh scale of machines,
materials and related technologies, as
accustomed, from a horde of leading
and renowned manufacturers, namely,
Hewlett Packard (HP), Canon, FUJIFILM
Dimatix, AGFA Graphics, Inca Digital,
EFI, SwissQprint, Mutoh, Epson, Mimaki,
Roland DG, Dilli, DGI, among others and
from the local (Chinese) market, such as,
Fei Yeung Union, DNE Laser, etc.
APPPEXPO witnessed arrays of printers
equipped with DX printheads as well as
others in the loop comprising Dimatix
Spectra, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, XAAR
and Kyocera, which are categorised to
be in the economic range. Media and
substrate majors from all across the
globe thronged the expo. Among the
media biggies pulling huge crowds across
the show floors were MACtac, Starflex,
to name a few. Of the major attractions
at the expo was a group of companies
showing glow or illuminated
sign technologies among which the
Korean company NC LED excelled
amid the crowd.
Showing fresh development in the cutletter/
channel-letter sign making, a
flock of exhibitors in this segment, such
as Woodpecker, Esko, DNE Laser and
others, presented advanced range of laser
engravers and CNC routers.
Every single edition of APPPEXPO has
been perfect to its way of showcasing
what’s new in the signage industry at
global echelon.
