PRINT CHINA is perceptibly posing to be a globally acclaimed platform where leading machine manufacturers from all parameters of the printing industry are gathered on a common platform. The third edition of the expo held recently at Guangdong drew overseas delegates from more than 30 countries, among which India counted in the lead up level, as visitors from the country’s printer associations composed a huge crowd.

Hewlett Packard (HP), EFI and FUJIFILM were the big bosses on the show floors, drawing attentions of visitors to their exhibits presenting a select range of ultramodern digital large-format printers during PRINT CHINA 2015. Themed on ‘Value for Innovation’, FUJIFILM flaunted its machines and technologies among which Acuity UV flatbed printer created a room of special recognition at the company’s massive stand. FUJIFILM Acuity is featured with industrial printheads, which is built for UV print solutions in optimised quality, speed, and production.

On the other side of the show floor was HP’s massive stand where displayed the company’s line of high-end printers, which comprised HP Designjet, HP Latex 300 Series, HP Scitex FB700, among others. Revealing the competence in inkjet photo printing, HP Designjet appeased visitors around looking for fresh opportunities in interior, in-shop and related jobs in this parameter. Present physically at the company’s stand also included HP Latex 360 and HP Scitex FB700. HP Latex 360 is designed to meet high-quality standards at the speed of 31 sq m/hr in high speed mode, delivering graphics in 1200 dpi. Delivering high-quality results on rigid and flexible materials, HP Scitex FB700 is a versatile and compact system capable to run on any flexible material at the speed of 21.1 sq m/hr.

Special highlight from HP at the show was its HP Scitex 15500, specially engineered printer for quick turnaround corrugated applications. The printer can convert over one million sq m/year at 1,000 pieces per order. With its smooth operation on industrial-grade standard board, unique feature of Scitex Corrugated Grip in the printer handles even severely warped media and its HP HDR230 Scitex inks are suitable for economical corrugated printing on paper-boards.

Many talks around the show floors at PRINT CHINA 2015 were floored on ‘green printing’. In this context, spotlight fell upon EFI VUTEk 2000 LX Pro, a fully loaded production-level LED UV curing hybrid printer, whose true grayscale technology extends the range of supported substrates and bottom line of PSPs with an innovative ink curing technology and this printer is known for its green technology with high environmental benefits to satisfy demands for a greener printing solution with less waste, fewer consumables and minimal power consumption.

PRINT CHINA 2015 held ‘India Day’ emphasising the importance of the presence of delegates from the neighbouring country and such special attribute of the expo turned it into a perfect confluence of a myriad of industry people from all around the globe.
