Fastsigns adds 3M Visual Attention
Software to its graphic device services

Fastsigns has added 3M Visual Attention Software (VAS) to their existing array of graphic design services. This new initiative was announced recently at the company’s annual convention at Dallas. VAS is an innovative web-based software tool based upon decades of vision science research, and works by analysing designs and photos to predict what’s most likely to grab a viewer’s attention in the first 3-5 seconds of viewing. After creating an initial layout, the designer can simply upload it to VAS and receive an analysis in about 20 seconds. The software generates five reports that can be viewed online, and downloaded to discuss and share with the client. Based on the VAS analysis, the designer can either revise the project or finalise the design, and present to the client with greater confidence.
