Two new AGFA Graphics inkjet printers premiered globally at ISA 2015

AGFA Graphics leveraged ISA Sign Expo 2015 as a launch pad to unveil its newly introduced two inkjet printers—Jeti Tauro and Jeti Mira. The two new systems shown alongside a line of existing products of the company took centre stage during the expo organised from April 08-11 in Las Vegas.

Designed as new assortment of UV inkjet solutions for the high-end printing, newly introduced Jeti Tauro and Jeti Mira inkjet printers enthralled the crowds at ISA Expo 2015, who geared to high-productivity and high-quality outputs. Jeti Tauro is a hybrid system, which offers optional semi or full media load/unload automation and it prints up to 2.5 m wide rolls or rigid materials completely operated from Asanti workflow software of AGFA Graphics.

Alongside the Jeti Tauro was Jeti Mira, yet another true flatbed inkjet printer, ruggedly built and available in two table versions (2.7x1.6m and 2.7x3.2m). The movinggantry architecture is specifically designed to offer optimal flexibility and high-quality output on varieties of media. In order to reduce vacuum masking, the split vacuum table of the printer features six vacuum zones with automatic and independent control of the front and back zones. ‘Print and Prepare’ mode in the printer allows non-stop printing, so that PSPs can load one side of the table while the other is engaged in printing.

Dominiek Arnout, vice president inkjet, Agfa Graphics stated that they truly believe that the market would embrace these newly launched inkjet systems, which make ultimate use of the company’s dedicated ink technology and tailored sign & display workflow. Also demonstrated by AGFA Graphics at the expo was its Anapurna M3200i RTR White, alongside its new automation options.
