at PRINT 17 in Chicago


In any printing expo, whether at home or overseas, wide-format companies never miss their berths. Since PRINT 17 has set its schedules as yet another ‘can’t-miss-event’ for everyone who would like to grab everything innovative from design to delivery, SIGN & GRAPHICS brings a brief account on the expo’s key wide-format exhibitors showing cutting-edge products and technologies for the signage industry.


Every single edition of PRINT is swarmed with eager trade visitors turning up to see the demonstration of cutting-edge technologies, new applications and services. The expo always keeps up-to-date on the industry trends and issues. This year too, the expo has been set to organise from September 10-14, 2017 at McCormick Place in Chicago, bringing some fresh marvels for the large-format segment among the showcases from 450 exhibitors.

Anajet (Stall 660) at the expo will announce some of its key products, such as mPower i-Series direct-to-garment third series printers. AnaJet is one of the first companies in the world to mass-produce digital garment printers. On other side of the show floor will be Display Barn (Stall 460), well-known manufacturer of tradeshow and advertising display solutions, showing fresh innovations in indoor and outdoor banner stands, flags, sign boards, literature displays, and custom travel cases.

Trade visitors can expect new breakthrough technologies from EFI (Stall 4022) during the expo, which may include upgraded line of the company’s flagship wide-format systems and software, including Fiery, VUTEk, Jetrion, Digital StoreFront, Cretaprint, PrintFlow, Reggiani, Matan, EFI Armor, Quantum, Genuine EFI Inks, Radius, Monarch, among others. EPSON America (Stall 831) has set to demonstrate its SureColor wide-format digital printing systems, among which the latest models of SureColor P6000, SureColor T3270 (Screen Print Edition), SureColor P7000 (Commercial) may include.

FUJIFILM North America (Stall 2013) will offer trade visitors its latest breakthroughs in digital imaging technology with the showcase of creativity and innovations its Acuity Series, Uvistar Hybrid, and others could deliver, meeting demands for photo-realistic images in both roll and rigid works. HP Inc (Stall 613) is set to reveal a complete combo of printing, including wide-format range with the celebrations of its 25 Years of Experience in the industry, shedding a spotlight on HP DesignJet and PageWide Series.

Memjet (Stall 3822), a renowned OEM whose engines are used by some of the highly reputed wide-format machine manufacturers like XANTE, Oce, Gongzheng, to mention a few, will present a fresh range of upgraded technologies during the expo. Mimaki USA (Stall 4019) will be a crowd puller as the company is showing its printers, comprising the award-winning models, such as Mimaki JFX200-2513, Mimaki JFX200-2513 UV-LED flatbed printer, Mimaki UJV55-320 UV-LED printer, Mimaki TX500P-3200DS fabric printer, etc.

An upgraded line of printers and plotting cutters is what Mutoh (Stall 4241) is showing at the expo. Trade visitors can catch some upgraded Mutoh ValueJet models, which are known for their quality, speeds, ease of use and Smart Printing Technologies like Intelligent Interweave print technique that virtually eliminates banding, at the expo. OKI (Stall 3218) is yet another exhibitor presenting its award-winning products, creative printing solutions designed for point of sale (POS) graphic applications.

PRINT 17 has been a platform where exhibitors could interact with their existing customers as well as a robust mix of first-timers from all around the globe. Apart from an exhibition, 50 co-located industry conferences, meetings, networking events and receptions will be part of the five-day trade expo.
