super wide-format UV-LED printer
Mimaki has launched UJV55-320 super wide-format UVLED
printer, a 128-inch roll-to-roll model featuring seven
ink colors including
‘white’ for printing on
transparent or coloured
media. This new UJV55-320
printer produces vibrant colours with a high degree of opacity and
consistent colour for optimal results in day/night applications.
Instant-curing UV inks enable multi-layer printing that reproduces
high-quality designs with two-layer or three-layer printing.

Chinese company Gongzheng has
introduced the first eco-solvent
printer with real variable dot
technology and original Epson DX5 printheads. The new model AD-
1801 S/AD- 1802 S has improved electric system, core mechanics
and ink supply system. Because of the technology and printhead
directly from Epson (Japan), PSPs now can get the eco-solvent
printer of Japanese quality at Chinese price with cordial support from
Mehta Cad Cam, Indian distributor of the printer.

Monotech Systems introduces
Homer direct-to-fabric printers
At the recent Garment
Technology Expo 2016 held
in New Delhi, Monotech
Systems announced a new line of
direct-to-fabric printers—Homer.
Highlighting two models i.e.
HM1800 and HM1800S for direct-to-fabric printing, these printers
are robust and meant for the high production printing directly with
RICOH printhead on fabric. In addition, a new Pixeljet SP2220
sublimation printer, the company’s own brand, was also launched
during the expo. Ajit Mohanty, general manager– textile business,

AGFA Graphics adds new features
and automation to Jeti Tauro and Mira
AGFA Graphics has added new
features and automation to its Jeti Tauro and Jeti Mira UV
inkjet printers. Jeti Mira UV inkjet printer is now designed
with a dockable RTR system that attaches to the front of the flat
bed table, reducing the distance the media needs to travel (less
media waste) and further decreasing the chance of skewing while
also improving accuracy. The 105.9-inch (2.69 m) Jeti Mira flatbed
printer with moving gantry is built for heavy industrial workloads and
produces outstanding quality in six colours plus white with optional
primer or varnish.
