Magnifying its product portfolio, RICOH India announces the distributorship of EFI printers, which is likely to commence from December first week this year. In conversation with SIGN & GRAPHICS, SAMBIT MISHRA, COO, RICOH India Ltd, says they will sell the versatile UV flatbed printers directly and take care of after-sale service as well.

The EFI UV printers that RICOH India has chosen to distribute across the country include EFI H1625 LED, EFI VUTEk H2000 Pro and EFI QS2000. Sambit mentions that they will start with EFI H1625 LED, followed by other models. He adds that the printers they have selected for distributorship from EFI are versatile and best in their classes. For instance, EFI H1625 LED is a mid-level production printer designed to maximise image quality with four colours, plus white and greyscale print capability.
A piece of advice from Sambit for those adopting EFI printers is that the systems are suitably engineered to expand offering, customer-base and bottom line with fast run and high margin capabilities. In addition, the LED technology featured in the EFI systems lower running cost and boost up ability to print on specialty rigid and flexible materials for creation of innovative display graphics.
With their new initiative of EFI machine dealership, RICOH India also announces their hunt for a right channel partner for its Pro L4100 Series. “We have channel partners for our latex printers
in the northern, eastern and western regions of the country; but we are now looking for a capable one for the southern region,” mentions Sambit, adding that their idea in this move is to penetrate the tier II and III cities.
